Wireless networks are one of the branches of telecommunication science in the present age, the effects of which are clearly seen in daily life. In a special type of these networks, a set of sensors are connected to each other to collect information in a wireless environment and are known as wireless sensor networks. Because security and privacy are so important in many of the proposed applications for wireless sensor networks, this type of networks are usually set up to collect records from an unsafe environment. Almost all WSN security protocols emphasize that an attacker can generally control a sensor node by direct physical access. The advent of sensor networks as one of the major technologies in the future has poses various challenges for researchers. Black hole attack is very common because it drops the packets and invades communication process. There are different strategies to detect black hole attack in network, like measurement of residual energy or packet delivery ratio and also because it identifies themselves as cluster head (CH) another strategy can be based on how many times node is chosen as CH. In this paper first consider 10 nodes as black hole node and then based on residual energy, detected black hole attack on Max LEACH protocol.
