Artificial Intelligence and Public Trust on Smart Healthcare Systems

The present study was planned to explore how the attributes of an AI-powered smart healthcare system affects the public trust and their continuous usage intention in Indian context. This study relied on primary data gathered from 462 survey participants who had experienced the AI-powered healthcare system in India. Outcomes of this research revealed significant and positive relation between the attributes of AI-powered smart healthcare system and public trust. Furthermore, the findings of this study discovered a significant relationship between public trust and their willingness to adopt with respect to the AI-powered smart healthcare system. Results of this study conceptually strengthens the present body of literature on human-computer relationship and will also help policymakers and service providers in crafting their future strategies for promoting AI-powered smart healthcare system in an emerging economy like India.
