Implications of varying probability in fault tree analysis
D.A. Lee, J.M. Browne · 2022
One of the limitations of fault trees as an analytical tool is in obtaining appropriate probability data. To overcome this, use could be made of probability ranges instead of relying only on single probability values. This paper considers the appropriateness of this approach and draws comparisons between the probability outcomes of the top event based on calculated values and computer simulations using standard packages.
