The Automotive Open Systems Architecture (AUTOSAR) operating system specification defines a series of abstract standard interfaces for automotive embedded operating systems and their related services. The traditional conformance test case design method suffers from high redundancy and poor reusability. This study designs a conformance testing method for AUTOSAR operating systems based on decision tables. The decision table is a symbolic means to express the logical interdependence of events, which can list the complex logical relationships and multiple condition combination cases in detail. Through the conformance testing experiments on the task management module of AUTOSAR standard operating system, the method eliminates 8 redundant test cases compared with the traditional method, and the test cases generated by the decision table method corresponding to the conformance class level are also reusable, reducing the testing effort by 16.3%.
