Online education is a new trend and is in great demand all over. In recent times, most schools and universities have started adopting the online mode of teaching and online proctored exams. Conducting exams online turns out to be quite cumbersome as students have to take up exams remotely. To mention a few common malpractices during an online exam - candidates switching between tabs of exam and browser window, deviating from webcam, use of mobile, and multiple persons. Such activities hamper the integrity of an online exam. Thus, face detection, object detection, face recognition, and tab locking mechanisms using a secure browser, all integrated into one can help in reducing the probability of such malpractices.The above scenarios that deals with real-life problems, can be solved by building an effective platform using various methodologies to conduct online exams without any hassle. Thus, the online proctoring platform will be a cross-over, that ties up either side of education for students and examiners.
