Since there are some mechanism of action of metformin, not only as the antidiabetics agent, as the tumor and its potency as anti-cancer and antiaging effects, and also treatment for PCOS, there are so many posibilities that interaction might occurs.1,14 Interaction between herbs and drugs between herbs and antidiabetic drugs have been reviewed in some paper.[15][16][17] Drug-herb interaction that concentrated in metformin have not been published, so this review is aiming to give some informations about the Drug-Herbs and Drug-Isolate Interactions in two main parts.
