This chapter discusses the technical specifications of the research, that is, how the research was conducted. This chapter provides an overview of the interpretive framework, the methodology, and some of the methods used to collect data. An important discussion within this chapter is the operationalisation of a cognitive justice interpretive framework, which recognises the equally valid existence of different forms of knowledge outside of mainstream, western thought. Further, this chapter explores the jugaad approach to ethnography employed as a methodology in this research. Hindi slang for a “quick fix” or “making do”, jugaad captures the contingent, versatile nature of community radio and applies such an attitude to the design of a methodology
