Configuration of Business Process Workflow in Software as a Service: Validation of Constraint Dependency relationships

Software as a Service (SaaS) is a new trend in software industry, where users configure a software based on their requirements. SaaS consists of automated business processes that provide full solution for users. Configuration of business process is not trivial task as there are many complicated constraint dependency relationships between these business processes. Therefore, providing validation is a must. Users' SaaS configuration should be controlled by their budget. However, this controlling is not an easy task. Hence, validating controlled configuration is a must as well as. In this paper, First Order Logic (FOL) rules have been proposed for validating dependency relationships and cost of business processes.
