Based on modern power electronic high-frequency switching power supply technology and pulse power technology, a high-voltage pulse power supply and discharge control system are designed to kill pests in soil or trees. The best working conditions of the equipment are determined by the electric discharge experiment of organisms (mice, representing mammals, simulating underground rodents and other pests; ants, representing insects, simulating termites and other pests). Compared with commonly used physical and chemical methods, the pest control effect of this method has the advantages of portability, low cost, safety, etc., which can maximize the prevention and control efficiency, protect the ecological environment, and effectively guarantee the survival rate of plants.
