Wireless Sensor Networks is useful for monitoring Environmental factors. As the role of WSN relies heavily on the service life of the sensor nodes, it is necessary to conserve power. Energy efficiency has always been a key concern for Wireless sensor network. Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (LEACH) is MAC base protocol which follows TDMA Concept. The recent literature shows that the transmission power has not been addressed, and only up to 100 nodes have been simulated. Here we represented an E-LEACH model with over 100 nodes in which we would characterize the energy use at each hub. When executing the steering convention, a specific model calculates the energy at each hub by evaluating the energy of the essential abilities developed for detecting and delivering information. This approach minimizes the amount of energy to construct and maintain Cluster Heads which helps to extend the life of wireless sensor networks. The proposed E-Leach algorithm minimizes energy consumption in each node by minimizing the time of a sensor nodes spends in an idle listening state and minimizing the average communication distance. This paper presents a detailed literature review on the topic and suggest a suitable solution to aforementioned issue. This literature review is based on publications and web sources.
