Open Shortest Path First Protocol with Failure Recovery in IP Network Performance Measurement

The Internet relies heavily on the ability to route data packets. Some of the most popular internet routing protocols include OSPF (RIP), IS-IS (IS-IS), EIGRP (EIGRP), and many others. This research calculates the OSPF convergence time for six routers connected to the same segment using a failure and recovery data scalable model. Convergence activity time and duration time are measured using the OSPF protocol.
