A Selenium-based Web Application Automation Test Framework

The quality of Web applications is a matter of great concern to current developers, testers and users. Some existing automated testing methods for Web applications have the problems as low efficiency, cannot be deal with dynamically loaded applications, cannot cope with frequent testing requirements, and so on. This paper designs and implements a Selenium-based Web application automation testing framework to solve the needs of automated testing of complex dynamic Web pages. In the experiment, the proposed framework is evaluated from multiple perspectives such as stability, test efficiency, and comparison with other frameworks. The results show that this framework has high test efficiency and can stably and quickly support automated testing of Web applications.
