Communication technology is the major innovation in the digital era. The Multi-hop Wireless Networks (MWNs) play a key role in many commercial networks adopted by the Mobile Ad-Hoc Network (MANET). The potentiality of multi-hop routing is effectively used by addressing routing and mobility-related issues in the context of wireless networks. The geographical information is processed by maintaining the global topology using the location information in a routing decision which provides the radical departure representing the geographical routing where mobility profoundly acts as an important factor impacting the performance of multi-hop geographical routing. The mobility models were designed to capture the patterns created by the nodes in the real by validating the real-time application. The geographical routing patterns focus on the location information freshness, adaptive location update, and node mobility models’ characteristics. This work contributes to the presentation of various forms of geographical routing and mobility protocols by analyzing their influence on real-time applications.
