Computational Platforms Used in This Work

In this chapter, we have provided information regarding the resources needed to generate results shown in the case studies. First, we started with the computational resources. In this book, only a portion of Case Study #6 needed supercomputer/high-performance computing access. Apart from this, all the work was performed on a laptop computer. DL-ANN models developed in Python were tested on an Android phone. Pydroid is the app in which we were able to use the DL-ANN model developed in the computer. In this work, several kinds of computer software, both proprietary and open source, were used in the case studies. We have provided relevant information that will be needed for using each kind of software in this book. We have provided workflows for each of the case studies through which a user can design their own workflows. Finally, in this chapter, we have provided a case study on a developing model for a 100-variable problem through the deep learning algorithm. We performed this task in an online platform, Abacus AI. This platform is extremely easy to use and provides accurate models in a few clicks of the mouse. No coding is required for this software.
