Identify Lotions Used and Omission of Word

In the article entitled "12% Lactate Lotion for the Treatment of Xerosis," published in the JanuaryArchives(1983;119:27-30), the nonproprietary names and trade names of the lotions used were as follows: 12% lactate lotion (Lac-Hydrin), the emollient lotion (Lubriderm), and 5% lactic acid lotion (LactiCare). Also in the right column on page 30, paragraph 3, line 5 should have read as follows: "However, the effects of lactate lotion may not be limited to the stratum corneum."
