Wi-Fi and Bluetooth have become indispensable functions for various wireless terminals. Mutual interference of Wi-Fi and BT is bound to exist due to they both work in the 2.4GHz ISM frequency band. In this letter, the over-the-air (OTA) measurement system is constructed to evaluate the severity of the interference, which focuses on testing the radiation performance of the whole machine. Two mobile phones, using the same chip platform but different types of chips are studied as the tested devices. It is found that the different types of chips have different effects on the test results. The high-end chip can suppress the level of mutual interference between Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
