Internet of Things (IoT) systems and Artificial Intelligence of Things (AIoT) systems are applied in wide range nowadays. This paper proposes developing adaptive devices for AIoT systems. The adaptive devices include adaptive sensing devices for IoT systems and adaptive gateway in the systems. These adaptive devices have good use to balance the traffic in heterogeneous AIoT systems. In our preliminary evaluations, the transmission efficiency of AIoT systems is improved using proposed devices. Because balancing the transmissions in the networks, the cost efficiency is much better than original AIoT systems.
