Big data is rising quickly nowadays and it is very difficult to maintain the data by having individual system architecture. So in the present scenario, it is approachable to go for a cloud service to maintain data easily by hiring the required configurations. But there we observe many security issues and challenges. In this chapter, we tried to observe the need of cloud to maintain big data and simultaneously represented different security measures need to focus on handling data. Also, there are different challenges observed on storing data, processing huge data in the cloud using its techniques, transportation of data in a multi-cloud. As the Big data is growing exponentially, the cloud can be the best service if we use it with proper authentication and security features.
