Digital channelization is an effective way to process broadband signals for the reason that it can divide a broadband signal into several narrowband signals, so the demand of hardware is reduced. However, with the increase of signal bandwidth and the number of sub-channels, the accuracy loss of multi-channel signal restoration is a noticeable issue. In this paper, a digital channelized receiver with overlapped passband architecture is proposed to improve the accuracy of signal restoration. This receiver contains polyphase filter bank in order to enhance efficiency. The simulation results show that the overlapped passband architecture is more accurate than traditional architecture in the aspect of spectrum restoration. In addition, both the root mean squared error (RMSE) and the correlation coefficient of this proposed architecture are better than those of traditional architecture.
