Some non-trivial two-term dilogarithm identities

In 2012, Lima introduced a remarkable two-term dilogarithm identity, based on a proof for the Basel problem due to Beukers et al.Using a series transform obtained very recently via Legendre polynomial expansions, we nontrivially extend Lima's identity, and offer a new proof of this same identity.
