Collaboration and advance planning across campus create more cybersecure colleges, universities

“Cybersecurity is a threat that changes all the time, so addressing it involves everybody living and breathing security as second nature.” This was a key theme of the recent National Student Clearinghouse webinar titled “CyberSecurED: Building a Cyber‐Ready Campus.” The webinar panelists — experts from EDUCAUSE, the Cyber Readiness Institute, REN‐ISAC: Research and Education Networks Information Sharing and Analysis Center, and NSC — discussed best practices for preventing and responding to cyber‐attacks.
