SMART CIRCUIT BREAKER: A UNIQUE AND OPTIMIZED SOLUTION FOR DIFFERENT APPLICATIONS

The present paper describes a new generation of medium voltage apparatus where the tailored integration of both embedded control electronics and IoT sensors allow to implement different sets of behaviours in terms of timing performance, actuator controls and used sensors interface extending the capability of the apparatus. The increased performance can be easily tailored and combined with the selection of different operational and logic profiles enabling easy matching with the application requirements and special integration needs.
