Spreading Sequences

Diakoumis Gerakoulis, Evaggelos Geraniotis · 2001

Chapter 2 presents spreading sequences of three different types: Orthogonal, Pseudo-Orthogonal and Quasi-Orthogonal. Several methods have been used for generating orthogonal Hadamard sequences of all sizes up to 256. Extended, complex and poly-phase Hadamard orthogonal codes are presented with their applications in CDMA. Also, the properties and designs methods for Pseudo-Orthogonal and Quasi-Orthogonal sequences are included. All the above types of sequences are analyzed and compared in terms of their synchronization timing-jitter properties.
