This chapter aims at addressing the security concerns found by the people for their homes, by the colleges for their labs with hi-tech technologies, by the corporate for their offices and various other places. Mainly in the places, where there is a presence of expensive items with limited or no security enforced, mainly due to the lack of controlled access mechanisms. In this chapter, we have provided a security system based on IoT (internet of things) architecture paired with IT architecture and firebase as database (DB) as a service model of cloud computing (CC). Our model checks for activity in any premise in two phases. Phase 1 (Access Details)-during active hours it keeps a check on number of persons coming in and going out of the premises. Phase 2-during inactive hours it checks for unauthorized intrusions as well as same of phase 1. The mechanism is such that in phase 1 (during active hours) the program keeps a track of incoming and outgoing persons (by counting mechanism) with their facial identity and provides a notification on app and website with the date and time. In phase 2 (during inactive hours) there is a check of no (zero) person being present in the premises and if there is any intrusion then the end-user is instantly notified over the app with a live stream of video playback. The devices security is handled using Blockchain to avoid any unauthorized access of any data of the user and if tried to enter into the network then the IP address of the intruder is also put into the blockchain to help report about the device impersonation.
