Throughout the book I have mentioned several tasks that should be carried out daily by security-conscious system administrators. In this chapter I will provide some useful scripts that automatically perform such tasks. Some of them don’t focus exclusively on Apache, but they do deal with important pieces of information (such as the server’s load), which are affected by Apache’s performance.
