The development of e-commerce has led to the rapid growth of express delivery businesses, which results in a large number of goods warehousing and access businesses. To reduce the express station number and labor costs, it is urgent to introduce information and intelligent technology into smart logistics. Based on the edge computing framework, this paper proposes an extensible unmanned express warehouse access system composed of multiple functional modules, such as mechanical control module, scan, code input module, face recognition module, and information display module. A prototype is realized by using STM32 microcontroller, Arduino development board, raspberry pie platform, RFID, ZigBee/WiFi communication, and LiteOS operating system. This system can not only realize the storage and access of unmanned express delivery, but also meet the needs of different sizes of express delivery points with flexible function modules.
