InfoSec — In the Interest of National Security Part 2

As we noted in last month’s column, InfoSec in the national security environment is not that different from InfoSec in the private sector. In some national security environments we know of, systems’ documentation is a very important matter, as all systems that are storing, processing or transmitting national security, classified information, must be approved prior to using those systems. Such a process would greatly assist the private sector InfoSec professionals in helping them to understand the information environment in which they operate.
