Florida researchers construct 3D faces from 2D image

In research published in the International Journal of Biometrics Xin Guan and Hanqi Zhuang of Florida Atlantic University, US demonstrated it is possible to construct a 3D face from flat 2D images. The researchers say the discovery could be applied to biometrics solutions.
