The combinatorial thinking skills are esensially important in now day era. The recent research regarded to improving the higher-order thinking skills is research-based learning (RBL) together with a STEM approach. Our research aims to describe a framework of RBL-STEM learning activities in developing a secure CryptoKey by using rainbow antimagic colorig of graph to improve the students combinatorial thinking skills. By rainbow antimagic coloring, we mean a bijection f : V ( G ) → {1, 2, …, | V ( G )|}. The associated weight of an edge uv ∈ E ( G ) under f is w f ( uv ) = f ( u ) + f ( v ). The bijection f is called an edge-antimagic vertex labeling if every edge has a distinct weight. Further f is called a rainbow antimagic labeling of G if all edge weights induce the rainbow colors and it should be guaranteed there exist a rainbow path for every u to v , where u, v ∈ V ( G ). The resulting rainbow antimagic coloring graph can potentially generates a secure CryptoKey.
