Moncode: A Multiscale Network Coding Software Implementation Library

This paper introduces the Moncode network coding library. Moncode is an open-source C library designed for the software implementation of network coding over heterogeneous platforms. Given the different operation and storage requirements of heterogeneous platforms, Moncode provides a variety of GF(2n) finite field implementation algorithms with different time and space overheads. Moreover, Moncode adopts the hierarchical structure to improve scalability and usability. We tested Moncode over different platforms, and the experimental results show Moncode can adapt to the network coding requirements of various application scenarios.
