Synthesis of the Functional Architecture of Agent-based Computing Systems when Using Conceptual Models of Artificial Intelligence

Sergey A. Zinkin, Vladimir I. Volchihin, Mustafa Sadeq Jaafar, Nadezhda S. Karamysheva · 2021

The object of research is the agent-based computer system for data and knowledge processing. The organization of distributed computing in computer systems implemented in the space of a global network of remote hosts is often associated with the need to take into account the mobility of objects - software modules in the form of mobile agents. The authors of this paper propose a conceptual and logical approach to the structural synthesis of agent-based distributed applications. In addition to the previous concepts, the concepts “frame” and “functional frame” are used, as well as logical formalizations of conceptual graphs. The concept of agent modules is been introduced for the implementation of programs that interact when distributed information is processing. Authors also proposed to use some artificial intelligence methods based on the representation of distributed algorithms in the form of semantic networks and the composition of conceptual graphs. The results are illustrated by the use of the most developed and proven platforms for mobile and intelligent agents.
