Twelve Garden Society members were expecting babies. Each pledged a donation to the new Botanical Center that would be the numerical representation of her wedding anniversary times the child’s day of birth. In this puzzle students need to calculate the amounts, and complete the chart. Four sisters made various deposits at their banks. Each receives a different rate of interest at the end of the month. In this puzzle students read the clues to learn who uses which bank and how much interest she will receive on her deposit. They need to subtract the deposits from totals to discover how much interest each sister earned. Evergreen Exercise Club members recorded a certain day’s water intake during 2 weeks. In this students need to convert cups to ounces for Week 1 and ounces to cups for Week 2 and write them in the grid. They also need to find which member recorded the amount they drank on which day each week.
