Measuring User Experience with Modular Questionnaires
Martin Schrepp · 2021
A good user experience is a key factor for the market success of products. Therefore, it is important that we can measure this factor. We describe the advantages of carefully constructed standard questionnaires for UX measurement. A particular problem with this approach is that UX is a very heterogeneous concept. Thus, there are many semantically different aspects of UX. Which of these aspects should be measured in a specific product evaluation depends on the product category. We explain this dependency and show how modular approaches can be used to solve the associated problems. Two new modular approaches are described as examples.
