The Involvement of Jupyter Notebooks as an Educational Tools: A Case Study

The paper presents a case study of involvement Jupyter notebooks as an educational tool. We described implementing a notebook for one task - exploratory data analysis - in the context of the win-day-one pedagogical pattern. Notebook implements the workflow of exploratory analysis, and Python scripts implement measurement scale identification, descriptive statistics calculation, frequency distribution visualization, and correlation analysis. We also examined the properties of notebooks as an educational tool and ways to mitigate the pedagogical and technical challenges.
