ON THE ERROR OF APPROXIMATION BY RBF NEURAL NETWORKS WITH TWO HIDDEN NODES

We consider the problem of approximation of a continuous multivariate function by RBF neural networks with two hidden nodes in the uniform norm.We obtain a sharp lower bound estimate for the approximation error in terms of functionals generated by closed paths.
