Microservice architecture is designed to tackle the complexities of modern large-scale enterprise applications. It employs the “divide and conquer” principle to break down a complex business into smaller services, with complete autonomy of its technology stack. Typically, one microservice can exist alone, but it cannot fulfill business goals alone. Several microservices work together to fulfill the required business goals. A microservice needs to exchange data or trigger other microservices to perform a subtask.
