Machine Learning Aided KREONET for Advanced Scientific Research Support

Korea research environment open network (KREONET) has been supporting advanced scientific researches in South Korea, by providing optimized network infrastructure as well as cutting edge technologies to the specific research groups. This paper proposes a concept of machine learning based scientific research support in KREONET. By considering practical network properties of scientific research groups of KREONET in year 2021, SVM models with diverse kernel functions and parameters calculate optimal boundaries which can be extended as a criterion for scientific research support of KREONET in the future.
