A frequency-domain algorithm for satellite on-board time synchronisation

This paper addresses the problem of time synchronization in the uplink of a satellite transmission, in the context of a communication system, 3GPP 5G for example. It proposes a new simple algorithm implemented in the frequency domain, that measures the time difference between the received signal and the local satellite time base.
