On behalf of the steering committee of the International Conference on Behavioral and Social Computing (BESC2021), I would like to express our gratitude to Hamad Bin Khalifa University (HBKU) for hosting and supporting BESC 2021. This will be the first edition of this conference in Qatar and the MENA region. BESC has always been welcoming to new ideas and interdisciplinary research. Our committee includes world-renowned researchers in AI, social networking, social and cyberpsychology, linguistics, and human-computer interaction.
