This year the number of IoT devices has already surpassed 8 billion. However, the focus of these embedded devices is to provide the proposed services without worrying about their security. This article proposes a Host Intrusion Detection and Prevention System (HIDPS) for hybrid architectures, identifying security flaws and preventing attacks using the computational paradigm FoG computing. The decentralized communication used in this solution takes place through the use of a technology similar to a Blockchain, the Tangle, thus allowing for greater reliability of the entire solution.
