Video Watermarking Using Persistent Homology with Resistance to Frame Dropping

With the spread of video distribution services, illegal copying and uploading have become a serious problem. One of the countermeasures against this problem is video watermarking technology. We have proposed a video watermarking method based on persistent homology. Persistent homology is a mathematical field that focuses on the state of holes in a figure. The previous method has no tolerance to frame dropping, because two consecutive frames are used for embedding information. In this study, we propose a new video watermarking method that uses a single frame for embedding information to acquire resistance to frame dropping.
