On the dynamic behavior of the novelty detector and the novelty filter

Dirk Aeyels · Birkhäuser Boston eBooks · 1991

Both the novelty detector and the novelty filter are adaptive systems capable of “storing” a number of inputs and responding only to “new” inputs, i.e. inputs that have not yet been stored in the system. This paper attempts to contribute to a better understanding of the convergence properties of these systems. These keywords were added by machine and not by the authors. This process is experimental and the keywords may be updated as the learning algorithm improves.
