Where We Are Today: An Update to The UConn Survey on JPEG 2000 Implementation for Still Images

An update on the findings of the 2008 JPEG 2000 survey conducted by the authors. A review of the current landscape of software tools that support the specification, tool usage, and a look at the recent literature that surrounds the format's possible employment in the cultural heritage community are also examined.
