A Semantic-aware RDF Query Algebra

In this paper, an RDF algebra based on a layered RDF graph model is proposed to incorporate semantics inferencing into query answering. We achieve this by providing a set of interpreting rules to expand the pattern graph specified in a user’s query into a fuller one which explicitly captures the required inferencing semantics. 1
