SLITEX is a program for generating text slides. The FORTRAN program, which uses screen prompting, is designed to provide casual users with a means to generate high-quality, 35-mm color text slides. A variety of background colors having preselected foreground color schemes may be selected by the user. The SLITEX program creates a MAPPER file in the user's area on the PDP-10, which may be submitted to the FR80 film recorder, Versatec printer, or viewed on a graphic display terminal. SLITEX is intended to be used to produce text-only slides; no provision has been made for setting equations using this program.
