1.Introduction Human s health is of prime importance to their everyday endeavors including the future projection of their ambitions.Health embryos all activities humans are able to perform.Mental health is one of the faculties of health and it so happens that it has a bearing to the physical health of the person.Metabolic syndrome is a symptom of body disorder (medical) that causes the various organs to malfunction.The malfunctioning organs can lead to diseases like cardiovascular or diabetes to mention a few.The syndrome is believed to be associated with the eating and less physical exercises habits, where the body weight to height factor is taken as a scalar quantity.The concept that big belly members of the society endanger themselves in relation to this syndrome cannot be overemphasized.Unfortunately many end up digging their grave through psychological implications and not due to their body weight height factor.SOM is a mapping routine where multidimensional data is mapped onto one, or two-dimensional surface for easy visualization, clustering and hence analysis and interpretation of the original complex data.SOM
