In-stream determination of charge moisture (a review)

The article lists thermogravimetric, chemical, spectro-optical and electrical methods for on-line moisture determination. Details of instruments available in Japan, West Germany and the Soviet Union are given. A new moisture meter developed by Giprokoks for use on loaded belts is described. It is a capacitance meter, operating at a frequency of 10 MHz and can measure moisture in the range 5-15%. (7 refs.)
