Matrix Polynomials with prescribed zero structure in the finite complex plane

Israel Gohberg, M. A. Kaashoek, André C. M. Ran · Operator theory · 1991

Explicit formulas are deduced for all regular matrix polynomials with a prescribed zero structure in the finite complex plane and with the additional property that the inverses are analytic at infinity. The solutions are parametrized by two matrices satisfying a linear equation which is connected to feedback problems and Rosen brock’s theorem from mathematical systems theory.
