PHOTODIGITIZE: A software/hardware system

PHOTODIGITIZE is an automated photo interpretation and documentation system to digitize and process single voltage waveforms captured within photographs. It has been especially designed for the ultra fast data records. This system first captures the information from the photograph onto a 512 /times/ 512 pixel digital record and then uses recognition algorithms to identify the voltage waveform and graticule. The software was designed to be as stand-alone (small computer) and as user friendly (menu, prompt, query/,etc) as possible and to minimize operator time.
