Increased use of spectral slit widths in the $2 cm^{-1}$ range complicate cross-instrumental correlation of Raman intensity measurements. Graphical methods without symmetry dependency are presented to apply instrument function corrections to band contours. The carbon tetrachloride Raman intensity standard is redefined in terms of the neon band at $6506.53{\\AA}$.
